Fresh Apparel is about more than tees – the company was started by a Missouri-based mom of two with the goal of bringing cool, realistic style to families everywhere. We do things in rad ways. We have fun. We make fun – of ourselves – and bring a unique perspective to life. Each graphic tee, hoodie, and raglan was designed to capture a moment of family life, to celebrate it and eternalize it. But to look fresh doing so.
Shop owner Amanda graduated from Michigan State University and moved with her hubby Erik to Missouri in 2010, where she had an exciting real estate career. But her two young kiddos, Brody and Lola, inspired her to press pause and stay home for a while. Amanda’s experiences in the mom life have certainly informed the brand’s hip, humorous vibe and creative parenting perspective.
Amanda is into natural parenting and rap music. When she’s not designing your next favorite tee in her downtown office, you’re likeliest to find her snacking on jalapeno Cheetos or sweating them off at CrossFit. She took a break from real estate to spend more time with her kids, but shortly after opening Fresh Apparel she found herself working 70 hours a week with a staff of 5. Funny how life happens!
Most of the kids’ tees in the shop are geared toward both boys and girls. We love that most of our items are unisex. All apparel is screen printed locally on high-quality, comfy knits for babies, tots, and adults. We’re not fancy, we’re fresh. If you are too, you’re shopping in the right spot.
