Hi there, Suway Ham here, I am the one momma behind THE LITTLE HAM! I grew up traveling most of my life, moving every 2 ½ to 3 years as a navy brat, living as far away as places like Guam. (That’s where my passion from socializing stems from!) Painting with acrylics has been one of my favorite past times growing up as I have always been a fan of arts and crafts and fashion. After moving around for quite some time I have finally settled down in a small town located outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
I have always desired having my own business but never imagined that it would involve children’s clothing. The idea came to me shortly after having my son, Kayson. It was then that I realized there were not enough burp cloths or bibs to go around. I found myself washing multiple loads of laundry a day just to make it through the week. I wanted something unique and “hip” that my son would stand out in and that just didn’t exist. That is when I decided to trade in my paint brush for a sewing machine and haven’t looked back since!
Adding my sassy daughter, Adrina into the mix has definitely spiced up my inspiration (along with hip hop music and tons and I mean TONS of coffee!!) When the kids are sleeping I crank up the tunes and let my creativity take over! The outcome has been remarkable! The Little Ham’s most popular items are my custom designs. I pull my inspiration from my two adorable children, everyday life, and pretty much go with the flow! Specializing in anything personalized from take home outfits for newborns, to themed birthday designs, and any occasion you can think of! If you give me the idea I will run with it to make it a one of a kind.
My vision is to provide fun, hip, and affordable items for your little ones. My kids are my world and I enjoy dressing them up.
