My name is Lindsay and I am the owner of Brin & Bell. I live in Utah. I have been married to my love for 14 years! I am a busy mom to four beautiful kids 12, 10, 8 and 4. We run around from sporting events and dance lessons…and life is always crazy!
I love Dr Pepper, chocolate covered cinnamon bears, University of Utah football, trashy tv, traveling, working out, cooking, fashion, and above all being with my husband and kids.
Brin & Bell was established in 2009 as a suggestion from some friends because of my love of jewelry and pretty things. Funny story, is when I was 8 I broke both of my arms, so I had a cast on them. My mom and I were about to leave the house and I told her to wait for me, I ran downstairs to get some jewelry (((FOR WHAT REASON??? I couldn’t wear bracelets on my casts!!!))), and tripped and sprained my ankle…I think my love for jewelry started then!
I have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety and PTSD. My business has been a way to cope. And has helped calm my brain. Making things for other people, that I know they are going to love, and that will mean something to me, keeps me going!
My shop is named after my girls Brinley and Bella. I wanted to incorporate their names into the shop, and so I had all of my friends and family come up with a vote, and Brin & Bell won!
My favorite part of being a business owner is I love hearing the stories behind the pieces that I make. Whether it is a gift for a new mama, or the initials of you and your lover, or the States that mean the most to you, or the fact that they love dogs or elephants…I love hearing all the details. It always touches my heart and it makes me happy to know that when someone looks at a piece of jewelry I made for them, it reminds me of someone or something they love!
