If you’ve been searching for cupcakeMAG on Instagram and wondering where I went, I’m still here – and I’m working to get my account back.
I’m Casi Densmore, founder and editor of cupcakeMAG. My main Instagram account, @cupcakeMAG, with approximately 149K followers, was suspended around 1am on Thursday, September 3rd while I was covering the Lindsay Clancy trial. As of September 5, 2026, my appeal is still pending.
For now, you can find me on Instagram at @cupcakeMAG_ & @talkswithcasi. Bookmark this page for updates about my main account.
Why this is so much more than an Instagram account
That account represents years of work, relationships, reporting, and building a community.
It’s also part of my livelihood. As a creator, journalist, business owner, and mom of five, losing access affects my ability to connect with readers, share my work, and earn income that supports my family.
I’m devastated. I’m frustrated. And trying to rebuild a way for people to find me while fighting to recover what I already built is exhausting.
But I’m still here.
Where to find Casi Densmore and cupcakeMAG
While I work to recover @cupcakeMAG, you can:
- Follow my backup Instagram: @cupcakeMAG_ and @talkswithcasi
- Repost this post on TikTok
- Visit cupcakeMAG: You’re already in the right place for website updates.
If someone asks where I went, please send them this post. Helping people find me makes a real difference right now.
Is cupcakeMAG’s Instagram coming back?
I don’t have a confirmed restoration date or outcome. My appeal remains pending, and I’m continuing to work toward recovering the account.
I’ll update this page when there is a confirmed change.
Thank you for finding me again, sharing my work, and showing up for me through this. Behind that missing Instagram page is a real person who built something she cares deeply about – and a community I’m still fighting to reconnect with.
