Sometimes I think that in a past life, I lived in England where I sat in small cafes during the afternoon enjoying a lovely cup of tea while reading a novel. And eating scones. That had no impact on my waistline what-so-ever. I am a serious tea lover. It is my second favorite warm beverage and only because coffee has been my first love since the age of 3. (No joke…my grandma would let me have coffee every time she babysat me, so i’m seriously addicted.) I have a student who is basically my tea dealer. Every time he comes into my classroom, he asks me if i’m running low, and as soon as I say “yes” there is a box waiting on my desk the next day.
Anyways, now that i’m through ranting about tea and talking about past lives, I have found a few classic and a few fun tea recipes that I am dying to try!
Then theres my love of Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade (which i’m totally counting as tea!)
I used to work at a Vietnamese coffee shop so I can’t forget Thai tea!
And what’s a good cup of tea without a snack to go with it?
