If you’re anything like me, you are dying for this winter season to be over and the warmer weather to arrive…so, why not start talking about spring style for your minis? This week I’ll be sharing spring inspiration for the little dudes in your life, and next week I’ll be bringing style ideas for all of the little ladies.
Most of these pieces will work for the days that start and end a little cooler (my favorite thing about spring!) but will work as the afternoons get warm. I also love all of these pieces because they’re casual enough for your day to day, but could be worn with nicer pieces for other events.
1. These skinny khakis (in papaya pop) from Old Navy are so bright and springy. I love the idea of pairing these with graphic tees for a play date or a flannel button up for church.
2. This canvas button-down vest is the cutest and something I’ve already ordered for my son, Gunner! I love layering on little dudes.
3. This canvas-cadet hat is perfect for keeping sun out of eyes and off of fair cheeks.
4. I love a versatile pair of shoes — something that can work for the park and for a night out to dinner. Vans are a pricier pair of shoes but worth it for the quality and when they can be worn multiple places. The classic-checker slip-on are my favorite.
5. Spring definitely calls for a windbreaker jacket. This one’s lightweight, machine washable, and keeps you dry in a rain storm.
6. We’re big fans of anything nautical in our house, and this patterned, anchor tee is adorable…especially paired with those “papaya pop” skinny jeans.
7. We buy these twill shorts (from Old Navy) in multiple colors every year. They’re durable but still nice looking. I love them in this “Azure Like You” color.
8. Again with a sturdy, twill bottom. H&M carries these skinny leg pants in tons of fun colors. They also feature an adjustable, elastic waist, which I really like.
9. “Boy Gone Wild” — one of my FAVORITES! I’m all about embracing my little man’s wild, adventurous side.
Which piece is your favorite? Any must-have that I missed?
