I don’t know about you but “Spring Cleaning” has been taken to a whole new level in my house and it’s all about the organization process here! First up I took on a project that desperately needed a revive: Our pantry.

The pantry is definitely an easy area to give a “glow up” and I’ll be sharing how you can transform your kitchen pantry without spending a fortune!

Lets start with the before.. yes those are empty boxes that I am using for storage.. yikes! There is no order, rhyme or reason to anything in this closet. It quickly became an “open it up and throw it in area” which also lead to us buying duplicates because we had no idea what we were out of or still had!

Step one: Take EVERYTHING out of the space. Yes, this means your kitchen may be out of commission for a little bit but this is the easiest way to do it!

Step two: Group items into similar categories such as:

  • Pastas
  • Baking supplies
  • Baby foods
  • Easy to grab snacks
  • Breads (bagels, tortillas, sliced bread)
  • Protein powders
  • Coffees/Teas
  • Canned goods
  • Paper goods: plates, forks/utensils, plates
  • Cereals
  • Breakfast toppings (coconut flakes, nuts, granola, chocolate chips, oatmeal)

Step three: Order what you need! If you want to start with the containers and return or repurpose what you don’t use for the pantry, this will definitely help you cut down on the time that your space is out of commission, but you may spend more than you want to.

Tips for picking supplies:

  • Use turntables for small snacks that are perfect for the kids to easily see and access.
  • Use clear bins for things that you want to easily be able to see – for me, thats baby food and other snacks. Things I need to know if we’re running low on but still look “pretty” on display and easy to organize within that bin!
  • Use stackable containers for things like rice, pasta and baking supplies: these will look pretty but also keep items fresh and if you’re catching the trend of this post- help you to see what you’re running low on!
  • Use woven baskets to “hide” the not so pretty things. You can use this for flours (like coconut flour) or baking supplies – things that don’t look great in a clear bin or things that are heavier and need a sturdy container. These woven baskets also make the pantry have some texture to the overall appearance.

This turntable is a complete game changer. It’s perfect for easy to reach snacks and in plain sight for those who have trouble finding something to grab (I’m referring to the kids and husband here!)

I love the size of these clear bin containers! I grabbed three packs of them! These would also work great in a playroom.

These cereal containers are a bit of a splurge but SO worth it for the convenience and the freshness they add!

These are the woven baskets that I used for the overflow items or as mentioned before, the “not as pretty” items that I didn’t want on display!

Then I used both sets of these stackable containers:

Shop Now: The “taller size” and and the “shorter size”

I also love these airtight containers for pasta and oatmeal!

Most important is finding a font that you love for your labels, for me I love this script and they were so easy to use! They had everything I needed in the one pack, I was honestly surprised!

And there it is! The beautiful end design! I am so excited about it!

What’s the name of that font? I’ve been looking for it to use on my Cricut.
