Buy The Change is a company founded for the purpose of making it easy for YOU to be a force for positive change. By purchasing ethically traded bags, blankets, scarves and jewelry, you are helping mothers in the developing world build businesses and gain economic freedom.

In 2011, Kari and Shanan, two friends in Michigan, decided to “be the change” and Buy The Change was born. Every product sold is handcrafted by a woman artisan living in extreme poverty. We believe business building and jobs are the best solution to this horrible situation. When you buy a product from Buy The Change it allows us to buy another one. This creates an ongoing cycle of success, self respect and freedom for our partner artisans.
