Lemon Lime Beergarita

Can we just agree there’s nothing better than an ice cold margarita in a hot day? I’m pretty sure I could just drink margaritas for the rest of my life and be happy but during the hot Summer months that feeling goes up by a 100%, it’s like all I crave are refreshing drinks garnished with lemon slices. So I went to my kitchen, tested out a couple of recipes and discovered this Lemon Lime Beergarita that’s just too good.

Seriously friends, this recipe is going to become a staple in your home during this season (and the next one, and the one after that) it’s that good! Also, it’s an incredibly easy recipe to make at home and you don’t need to have any fancy or difficult ingredients, you don’t even need to pay a trip to the liquor store since I’m pretty sure you already have all the ingredients you need at home.

This is the perfect mix of lemon juice, lime juice and beer and a bit of sugar. That’s the base of this Lemon Lime Beergarita. Also, if you are not a fan of beer or anything spiked you can just remove the beer and use soda instead, the result is just as good, actually the alcohol-free version could pretty much be the best mocktail I’ve ever had.

Besides the cocktail you also you need a ton of ice. Go big or go home with the ice, this is meant to be enjoyed super cold. And some salt to rim your cocktail since this is a margarita spinoff after all!
