Hi there!! I am Stephanie, the designer behind Kindred Threads & the sweet little tot pictured is the inspiration.
I have been a creator for as long as I can remember and have always had a passion for creating anything! I absolutely love the way that a graphic tee can connect people from all walks of life. Kindred tees are inspired by everyday life with the people, the things, and the music that we love. We incorporate a little humor, a little inspiration, and a little bit of rap into our tees.
Kindred Threads began as a creative outlet from my 9-5 and has blossomed into so much more. I wanted to find a way to give & to connect with people around the world through it all (hence the name ‘Kindred Threads’). Every few months a different charity is chosen & a portion of every t-shirt sale is donated. In hopes of connecting our customers to the charity, we share a small bit of information on the foundation we are donating to on our ‘philanthropy’ page.
The foundation we are currently giving to is HeforShe, an organization that believes in equal rights for Men & Women. Every $100 contribution provides shelter and life skills training to 12 women in Zaatari refugee camp in Jorden, enables six marginalized Dalit women working as manual scavengers to secure alternative employment in India, or trains a low-income woman entrepreneur to run a grocery store in a Johannesburg township.
