Welkin NYC is a children’s line inspired by, and made in, New York City. We try and convey a “live and let and live” feeling that leads our lives here in NYC. We want to present an uninhibited freedom of expression in our children’s clothes, and to really foster a pride in being children of the city. It’s a very multidimensional message, which shows itself in our simple yet direct designs. We offer a collection of unisex pieces as well as a rotation of dresses, jackets, and special collaborations. We are passionate about environmental sustainability, and create our line in a completely eco-friendly manner at every level of manufacturing. We use rich fabrics including certified organic, certified recycled, fair trade, hand-made, and “craft-preservation” textiles, and source our materials directly from the mills and makers. We manufacture locally with a team of artisans based in NYC’s garment district.
