Rachel Goode is the vision caster behind Briar, and started the business out of the sewing nook of her home. She’s taken her need for a well made, practical headwear and transformed it into a simple, sweet, and elegant baby bonnet that has become a transcendent children’s wardrobe staple. Motivated by perfection, an eye for impeccable detail, and the desire to produce quality, Rachel has in deed revitalized the baby bonnet making it a much more modern piece with a quickly growing cult like following. When she’s not driving the business, you can find Rachel escaping into the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with her husband, and two children, including daughter Gracelyn Briar, the bonnet’s namesake.
