Is that even possible? Sometimes I don’t know actually. A typical bohemian style typically has a little bit of a feminine flair in my mind. I think though with the right colors and patterns it can totally work for a boy, don’t you think? And I am tooootally feeling this. Like so much so, I just recently bought this rug for my entry way and I am having a serious fight with myself trying to decide if I should keep it in my entry way or move it to my little boys room.
I am totally loving the mustard, turquoise, and gray colors. Mix those colors into a gorgeously geometric rug and with some incredible tassels on the end and you’ve got the beginnings of a great bohemian space. Mix in a simple black and white ethnic yet detailed large scale tapestry accented with a simple white crib, mid century chair, and geometric mobile you’ve got the perfect mix of bohemian, masculine, and modern… PERFECT for a little boy’s nursery in a modern bohemian home and toooootally up my alley!!
What do you think? Do you think a bohemian style can be made masculine enough for a boys room?
