This rug is my new obsession. Not only is the pattern absolutely fabulous but the colors are so spot on, the flat weave is beautiful, and the price is ridiculously great. So of course I had to put a space together inspired by it right? When I thought of the Degas, it was meant to be. The blue and black color scheme is seriously my jam this fall season. Something about the mix of the black and the dark blue feels so moody, sophisticated, classy, and totally mid-century. The clean white lines of the table and the bohemian industrial flair of the chairs and the macrame details in the curtains helps to create a hard and soft juxtaposition that adds excitement to spaces. Mix in a few perfect black and white graphic pieces of artwork with the classic Degas and you’ve created a timeless, beautiful, yet trendy, space to fit in any home. While this dining room would be incredible, if you took the same pieces and replaced the table and sideboard for a bed and dresser… gosh you’d have yourself a gorgeous bedroom. The perfect mix of feminine and masculine. When can I redo my bedroom??
