Urban Tee Farm

Hi ya’ll! I’m Ashley, owner and designer of Urban Tee Farm! Urban Tee Farm was created out of my passion for creating beautiful things. I sought out to use my graphic design background to create a line of tees that were bold, hip, and modern, that boys/girls/mamas would love to wear!

My son, my reason for everything, is where I draw a lot of my inspiration. I often find myself designing around things that are relevant to his growing up. It started with our “All the Rage” tee. Most people read the tee as if it’s saying “Everyone loves me. I’m ‘All the Rage’ right now!” — which is great because I think every little lady and dude is pretty awesome. BUT it can be taken another way… Rage: as in anger. Have you ever seen a toddler throw a tantrum? ALL.THE.RAGE. in those little faces!

Knowing that there HAD to be moms out there dealing with similarly disastrous parental situations, I started designing tees that would shine a light on the darker sides of parenting. When your 2 year old is in full-throttle meltdown mode in the diaper aisle at Target, having a “The Struggle is Real” tee on makes the humiliating situation a little bit comical. Your children’s tee shirts are something you look at all day long. So I thought, “Why not design them to remind people to find the funny in light of everything?”.

My aim is and was to make parents stop and smile and know that this hot mess of a child is only little for so long and that the tantrums/tears/screaming/food throwing/cat chasing is *somewhat* temporary.

So hunt down an Urban Tee Farm tee {or a new romper!} that describes your little (or you!) and own those moments. You might miss them someday ;)
