The Perfect Oreo Truffles

Written with love by | Chelsea |

There are a few great loves of my life. My handsome husband, Cody, of course and our pups, Murphy and Landon. My family and friends definitely top the list. Right behind them though is my deep and profound love for chocolate. Around this time of year I always have what feels like a million pot lucks, dirty Santa parties, and various other get togethers. My absolute favorite thing to bring to these gatherings are Oreo Truffles. I have been making these for YEARS and they are always a hit! They are requested every year by my husbands coworkers and I can assure you there are never any leftovers.

Not only are they DELICIOUS, they are super easy and only have 3 ingredients! Follow these simple directions and I promise you will be the hit of the party!

Ingredients:

1 package of Oreo Cookies

1 package of Cream Cheese (softened to room temperature)

Chocolate Almond bark

First | Place the Oreos in your food processor and let it run until you have cookie crumbs. (I have a small food processor so this I usually have to do this in several batches)

Second | When all of your cookies are crumbled, add in the softened cream cheese. You can add this directly to your food processor, although it does create a thick dough. I personally just mix it by hand (This would be a great time to get the littles involved in the kitchen! They will love smooshing the Oreos and cream cheese beneath their fingers!)

Third | Once your filling is thoroughly cream cheese mixture is thoroughly mixed, place it in the fridge to chill. While the filling is chilling, place the almond bark in a double boiler on the stove to melt. I use a glass bowl over a pot of water on the stove!

Four | Take the filling out of the fridge and roll it into small balls. I use a tablespoon to make sure I get equal sizes. Once you have your balls, roll them in the chocolate and then place them on wax paper to cool.

Five | You can leave them as is, top with crushed Oreos, drizzle with white chocolate, or decorate them any way you wish.

I hope you enjoy!
