We all know I have gone round & round with my skin – love it on the good days & wanna peel it off on the bad days. I don’t think I’ll ever get the science of it but things are looking up! I’ve stuck with my all natural wash regimen thanks to the discovery of ZaainaSkincare & most recently I’ve been sticking to this glorious make up regimen – thanks to the discovery of Jane Cosmetics & a few of my other all time favorite others.

I was sick of suffocating my skin with foundation everywhere – and honestly, the blending becomes too much when I’m just trying to run out the door without looking like a pale faced zombie. So I’ve been researching the art of contouring – how it works, what it does, and all the goodie good specifics of it. Now if you know how to contour – you lucky soul you keep in mind that I’m just beginning but have discovered some products that make the art of contouring easy & effective! And please share your tips & favorite products if you have something I should try!
Jane Cosmetics: Be Beautiful Multi-Benefit BB Cream with SPF
In replacing foundation, I have been using & loving Jane Cosmetics Be Beautiful Multi-Benefit BB Cream with SPF 30. I spend a lot of time outside – and not protecting my skin when I was younger is one of my biggest problems I’m facing now, so an SPF in my face make up is a must have.

Lorac: Double Feature Concealer & Highlighter
I start with the BB Cream as my base – and then switch to Lorac Double Feature Concealer & Highlighter to cover the stubborn bumps. This is a great tool – however I do not like to use it everywhere, I promise you though for that stubborn blemish – it’s a magic wand.

Jane Cosmetics: Multi-Colored Correcting Powder
Now next is a different step for me – Jane Cosmetics Multi-Colored Correcting Powder. I mean, it just sounds like something I should’ve been using since I was a teen. This powder works to eliminate imperfections of an uneven skin tone to help brighten & blend perfectly. Check out everything this miracle powder does, here. Oh did I mention, it’s only $12!

Bare Minerals: Warmth All-Over Face Color
Next up, I always have to have a bronze look (at least try to during the winter months) – its just my biggest beach babe pet peeve. Now Bare Minerals: Warmth All-Over Face Color I have used since I was a teen & I never plan on finding a better bronzer. As long as you use this stuff correctly it is the ideal bronzer. Make sure to use the lid as your source of getting the powder onto your brush & be sure to tap that brush a few times before applying to your face. Otherwise you’ll be resembling an oompa loompa & nobody wants that.

E.L.F: Baked Blush
And lastly, I use this amazingly affordable stuff to highlight my cheekbones. It is only $3 – YUP, you read that right & even better – most E.L.F. products are available at your local grocery store.

I hope these products help you in your learning process of contouring – I know they have done wonders for me! And please don’t forget to share your favorite products, tips & all your knowledge about contouring in the comment section – I would love to know more!
