Pregnancy is HARD! With that exact thought in mind, best friends Laina Derringer and Mandy Jones created the small business That Glow. The idea was born (pun intended, of course) after Laina and Mandy each gave birth to baby girls. Looking back over the courses of their pregnancies, they wished for a simple package of items that would have helped them get through each trimester. A survival kit, if you will. They felt that as soon as the two lines appeared on the pregnancy test, everything became about the baby.
That’s important, of course, but pregnancy can be a long road filled with ups and downs and sometimes a mama-to-be just needs a little help. They concluded that a little something to help a mama feel like herself again, with bonus points if it also makes her smile, was sorely needed. After some online research, they couldn’t find exactly what they were looking for, and decided to create it themselves.
