Stay Home Saturday’s: Craft Brewery Edition

09 Jan

Going to Craft Breweries on the weekends is something we used to always do but ever since COVID and honestly, even since kids – we haven’t really been able to!

This weekend we were able to bring the brews to us with Tavor! Tavour is a beer subscription service featuring over 600 independent breweries from 47 different states. Download the app and score $10 off your first order with the code “ThePedalingPA”!

Our box came with 12 different beer options and we were able to pick the types that we love the most – we selected sours, stouts and ales.

This fruity option by Brewery Vivant was my favorite! It is so good, I think even a non-beer fan would like it!

Jacob, on the other hand, grabbed this sour option by Adventurous Brewing and also loved it!

Today was a perfect day to enjoy some beer as it’s Wildcard Saturday and as you can see, hubs is a big fan of The Washington Football Team! Honestly, I’ll use any excuse to make some yummy treats and drink some good beer! Football is as good of an excuse as any!

On our menu today was:

  • Pork Tacos
  • Chips & Guac
  • Buffalo Chicken Dip
  • Spinach Artichoke Dip

For the pork tacos, I grabbed the Carnita’s seasoned boneless pork shoulder from Aldi and it was AMAZING! We cut it up and put it on corn tortillas and topped with coleslaw. For the coleslaw I did 2 cups of shredded coleslaw mix, 1/2 of a cup of mayo, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp cracked pepper, 1/2 tbs sugar and 2 tbs apple cider vinegar.

Here’s a recipe for Buffalo Chicken Dip and a recipe for Spinach Artichoke Dip!

Stay Home and Stay Safe!
