SoCal Gems started as an online jewelry boutique in 2014 by Patty Garibay, a human resource manager turned stay at home mom and entrepreneur.
After attending a friend’s jewelry trunk show, Patty realized that many young mommas held back from splurging on high quality costume jewelry because of the hefty price tag. She found several vendors that had very similar styles and great quality at a fraction of the cost, and decided to open up her own jewelry boutique.
After about a year and half she decided to add trendy and affordable clothing to her shop. Many of SoCal Gems’ customers love that they offer free U.S. shipping.
