THE CHICK BEADS
My name is Joyce and I am the creator of the Chick Beads. I am a very lucky to be married to Dan a very supportive partner in life that helps and encourages me everyday trough this little adventure that we started last year. We have a loving two year old daughter named Penelope, she has been the main inspiration for the Chick Beads concept starting when as a baby was always playing with my shirt and pulling my hair while nursing.
When I looked for baby friendly jewelry for mamas I did not find a large availability of stylish safe products. So I decided to do some research and make some of my own. I bought my first beads and made a few necklaces which she immediately loved. Then my husband started asking for my necklaces when babywearing or carrying our daughter because if not she will pull daddy’s beard (when he had it back then, clean shave now) or even worst his chest hair :D.
That’s really how The Chick beads was born, for the daddy’s need to have their own masculine teething necklaces. Don’t get me wrong we have way more girly stuff but we have added some pieces that will look great for the man in the family.
I realized quickly that she was not the only one who liked them as I began getting compliments from Moms and other people. They wanted to know where I bought them because they were so fun, colorful and stylish. We launch our website shortly after and started this little adventure called The Chick Beads.
I work really hard at making my product and shop standout by making trendy and unique styles. I aim my products towards those Moms and Dads that want more and unique options. Also, we’re super excited to announce that we are launching our new toddler jewelry coming out in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned to our social media for the release date and more previews!
Our 2 year old daughter still loves chomping on our necklaces and playing with them while nursing or when teething so you don’t need to have a an infant to rock our necklaces. Soon they can play with yours or have their own and even better match mama or dada.
