MAKS CHIC BOWTIQUE
Hi everyone! I’m Sinthia, the wife to a loving and supportive husband and a busy mom to 3 fun-loving children (Makenzie, Cameron and Caleb). Since I can remember I’ve always loved crafting. It was a way to express my interest and creative side. I decided one day that I was going to make my Daughters hair accessories instead of buying them. I found myself frustrated anyways at the stores trying to find the perfect headband or bow to match her outfits. With a lot of determination, patience, watching/reading how-to-make videos I started mastering certain styles. My family and friends were so supportive and suggested I sell them online. I did some research and decided Etsy was the best avenue to get my work seen and sold!
My shop Maks Chic Bowtique was born August 2011. I named my shop after my oldest and only daughter, Makenzie. Her nickname is ‘Mak’ and thought it was fitting to have it be about her. For the first few years I only created custom bows, headbands and clips. By the end of 2013 I started dipping into the Chunky Necklaces and bracelet world! My daughter and I both loved the bling and knew it would be a great addition to my shop!
The Chunky Jewelry really took off and is now my main focus. I offer a variety of Handmade High-Quality Bling in Toddler and Child size. I’m open and enjoy getting custom requests and creating adult sizes when needed. My popular items are the Chunky Bow Necklaces and The Over the top Diva Chunky Bow Bracelets! I take a lot of pride in my work- and always make sure that every piece is perfect and up to my standards before packaging it up.
Its been such an amazing journey and feel so blessed to be able to create accessories for people all over the world! I’ve met the most amazing and supportive small shop owners, photographers and customers over the years. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store.
