My name is Lucinda Snyder and I am the creative force behind lucends.
I taught myself how to sew. My son Cooper died when he was 3 weeks old, after open heart surgery, and I needed something to calm the storm raging inside my soul, so I borrowed a sewing machine from a friend. Sewing saved me. It became a way to honor Cooper, keep living and slowly stitch my heart back together.
Along with my passion to be unique and creative, it has always been a dream of mine to have my own fabric line. That dream is now a reality as I am thrilled to announce that all fabrics used are exclusive to lucends.
Creating makes me happy. It makes my soul sing. I want my creations to make you smile, to brighten your day, to make you giggle, but most importantly I want you to feel a tremendous amount of love when see them and hold them in your hands.
