pillow party!

Belquist

Belquist, the company I can blame for my new love of accent pillows. I couldn’t get myself to buy  pillows from Target for $25, knowing I will lay my head on them every night and that they were made in a factory, by who knows what, who knows where. Now don’t get me wrong – I love me some Target, I just love handmade too. Thankfully, Belquist found us & I fell head over heels for them – handmade pillow covers, all inspired by the hills of Spain. I mean come on – that just sounds like it will promise you good dreams for nights to come.Slide1

Currently on my bed I have the Granada in Slate (pictured above). Our bedroom being black & white, gray is the only accent + this pillow gives us some light without adding color (with it’s metallic shine). The pillow is also so soft – color & fabric wise – 100% linen!

CastawayCove Décor

As well as Belquist – we all know my love for Etsy is deep… there’s times I’ve blown my last $20 on that place. In one of those blowing my last $20 online shopping excursions – I found, CastawayCove Decor. Another shop that makes their pillow covers by hand! So no two are ever exactly the same, just like Belquist! The CastawayCove Decor sham I chose has an old victorian feel, mixing against the metallic pattern is so fun.

Granted, we discovered Michelle Dwight Designs early in blog life. So she has definitely helped us thus far – hats off to her!

Now I planned this post as a bed makeover post – however I then made the huge mistake of ordering my new bed, in taupe, not gray….SO as soon as I get my new bed, I will share the entire new look. But for now just know that with just a couple new pillows you can really spruce up a space!! xx
