Hey Ya’ll! I’m Ashley Babb, the designer and owner behind Paris Glam. I am a wife of 10 years to my high school sweetheart Heath, and a mama to our two rambunctious boys Jagger, 9 and Bentley, 5.
Paris Glam is a graphic tee shop and boutique here in little Paris, Tx! It all began in an upstairs room while I was still in high school babysitting for a family, The Pickerings! Paris Glam came to life when I graduated and we decided to open a store front, and in August of this year, we celebrated our 10th year in business!! ! When we first opened we began as a custom apparel shop! Over the years, we began to add more boutique items and clothing!
In 2008 we received devastating news, MiKyla Pickering (the oldest of the 3 children I babysat) was diagnosed with Leukemia. The next 3 years were difficult, but MiKyla taught me a lot about what life is truly about! Three short years later, MiKyla passed away. MiKyla’s favorite bible verse was 1 Corinthians 13:13 “”And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”” This verse has spoken volumes to me on many occasions. At the time I didn’t see the plans God was cultivating for me or for Paris Glam.
January of 2012 I bought Paris Glam from The Pickering Family. Over the next two years I began to see God’s plans and purpose for using Paris Glam to grow His Kingdom. In January of 2014 we made some major changes dedicating our store to God and re-branding Paris Glam as a Christian based store! We did a whole remodel of our store front and “”re-opened”” with some major changes. While we still offer custom school spirit tee’s and graphic tee’s, we also offer bible studies after hours and we do a bible journaling class once a month, we carry journaling bibles, devotionals, boutique clothing, gift items, and much more!
We are all about keeping it local and supporting small businesses. A lot of the items we carry have scriptures or encouraging quotes and are also from brands that give back or are supporting other small businesses! WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS!
