I spent some time chatting with Laura Lenausen, the owner of All Diaper Cakes, to learn more about how she started her business and her life as a busy mom (soon-to-be a mom of two! Congrats Laura!) and entrepreneur! All Diaper Cakes is the one stop online shop for custom baby cakes and baby shower gifts for new moms.
Gorgeous and smart, Laura Lenhausen started her business after having her first baby. After having done some research on what was lacking in the baby gifts market, she decided to launch All Diaper Cakes.
Since she launched, it’s been a labor of love. Laura was always driven and wanted to be her own boss.
“I felt working from home would be really good for me, I just didn’t know where to start at first,” said Laura. “I want to build a community and I want my customers to trust me. I believe in it and I’m always trying to make it better!”
Being that there are many challenges and hurdles when starting a business, I was curious to know what Laura found most rewarding. Being a great mom, the answer was no surprise!
“The most rewarding thing is being home with my son and setting my own schedule. It’s also rewarding to hear from a customer. I like customer contact and get right back to someone that wants to email a question.”

“I really care about my line,” said Laura. “You can make your own diaper cake, but the ones I make take a while to make. I find products that are organic and really trendy. I try to keep the price low and I don’t put the same of brush and nail set you see everywhere. If you get a diaper cake from my collection the baby will have things they can use for a while. If someone wants it to be all organic or a specific theme or specific color, I can make whatever they want it to be. I believe in the line and it’s only gonna grow. I have so many other ideas!”
Along her with handmade diaper cakes, Laura sells There are products that she’s super fond of and sells about 500 different products at All Diaper Cakes. Some of her favorites include the Babee Covee, zCush, Bella Bundle (which was featured on Ellen!), Personalized Birth Plates and so many more!
