NYFW Day 7

From The Desk Of: Tiffany Olson

Let’s be honest, I totally died for the Whitney Eve collection, but I’m a little biased because I have a bit of a girl crush on her. I mean, who doesn’t? She pulls off “quirky” better than anyone in my opinion, and she just seems so sweet and fabulous.  Right? The best part is now we can all pull off her quirky if we buy her collection! Here are some of my favorite pieces.

The Michael Kors collection reminded me of something you’d wear to an amazing, over the top, luxe ski resort, or on some sort of winter vacation.  In other words, if Wills and Kate asked me to go on one of their ski trips, I’d have to scoop these up.  I mean, right?

Nanette Lepore had a very bright, wearable collection.  The youthful yet intricately made collection is something she always pulls off without looking too stuffy, which I adore.

J. Mendel had a beautiful, light and airy collection for this fall.  He also debuted his bags, which are sure to be a must have item!

The Milly collection experimented with some fun voluminous looks while still maintaining the ladylike ensembles the brand is known for.

Farah Angsana really turned the heat up (and it was cold in NY) with this “jet-setting” collection. According to Angsana, this line is for, “someone who loves to travel to places like Shanghai, Hong Kong, Mumbai, and Dubai.”
