I have noticed my make up bag is becoming overwhelming to look through…maybe due to the holidays (stocking was filled with make up), maybe because I’ve been a complete make up junkie recently or maybe because I just can’t get rid of anything. WHATEVER the reason, mascara is a large portion to blame for why I keep having to get a bigger and bigger make up bag. Currently I have 7 mascaras in my make up bag, yes you read that right…7! So I thought what better way to determine which ones I should keep with me everyday {& which ones I should put in the drawer for not so much everyday use} then to give them all a try!

Starting with MAC (because it seems I use them the most). I don’t think I have anything bad to say about MAC, I mean…how can you?! Their entire make up line is high quality cosmetics that have NEVER let me down. Am I being dramatic? No, not one bit! Starting off with False Lashes Extreme Black, the perfect going out mascara. Literally makes you look like you have falsies on, it is EXTREMELY lengthening (can’t stretch that enough). When I first used it I couldn’t get over how long it makes my lashes, and yes I have those little baby lashes. Next is Haute & Naughty Lash (it’s my favorite from MAC). It adds length and volume, creating some seriously dramatic lashes. Like some mascaras you have to put on about 10 brush strokes to finally notice a difference but not this one, a couple strokes on each eye and you are good to go. Next is more of an everyday mascara, Opulash Optimium Black. Basically I can describe this best by saying, volume volume volume. I feel like this stuff lasts all night and day, and gives an overall full lash.

Next there is Estée Lauder. Again such an overall great make up line and their mascaras are FAB, totally worth the 20something a tube. The one I have become drawn to is the Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara (the name defines it perfectly). This is my everyday mascara-no clumps, great volume & extreme lengthening, what more could you want in a mascara?

Then we have Almay. I’m a huge fan of Almay because I have always had sensitive skin & their make up line caters to those with sensitive skin. I know I have preached about the get up & grow Almay one coat mascara & I will again. It really does work like it claims to, I noticed significant growth in my eyelashes after using this mascara daily. It’s a great mascara just to wear on errands because you don’t need much and it isn’t crazy dramatic. Same with Almay intense i-color volumizing mascara. Now this one I use with Almay’s complete intense i-color brand, I’m talking when I want super dramatic eyes like for the holidays, special events etc., it works to intensify your eye color with the help of the eye shadow, primer & liner {off subject for a second, their intense i-color defining liner is THE BEST}.
Lastly, Bare Minerals. I was always into Bare Minerals for the face; foundation, warmth & their famous mineral viel but then I realized they do more than just face! So I gave their eye make up a try. The Flawless Definition Mascara is the one I found to be most flattering for my eyes. It lengthens & separates taking my little lashes to profound dark long lashes. So no falsie look here, just long dark natural lashes.
