Remember when we introduced you all to Le bibble? Le bibble is the perfect accessory for Mom’s and littles everywhere, the fabulous organic bottle bib! You can read Le bibble’s CupcakeMag debut here.
I had the pleasure to use Le bibble in everyday life with my 3 month old son. Let me tell you, Le bibble has been a life saver! I have tried all different brands of bottles, and let’s face it, they almost always leak. Le bibble prevents that leaking from going EVERYWHERE {my couch thanks Le bibble!}. Also as your feeding your little, you can easily dab their chin with Le bibble to catch those dribbles without interrupting their feeding. This was HUGE in our household, my little man is NOT happy if the bottle is removed from his mouth before he is done! Le bibble really made a task that I do all day everyday that much easier, more pleasant for me and my baby, and let’s not forget stylish!
Another fab Mom feature of Le bibble, the cute fabrics Michelle uses. Between the patterned side and the organic side they are adorable. AND they wash really well. Just throw these in the laundry with your littles clothes and they come out just like new! I am constantly throwing one in my purse or diaper bag when I run out, and we have one that is always stationed with all of our baby bottle supplies.
Le bibble is a product only a Mom would think up! And the creator of Le bibble isn’t only a genius for this fabulous idea, Michelle is such a sweetheart and truly a pleasure to work with.
I had the opportunity to talk with Michelle about Le bibble, here is what she had to say!
1.) Le bibble is such a fabulous product, what made you come up with the idea of such a wonderful solution to Moms dealing with leaky bottles?
Thank you! I actually did have an ‘a-ha’ moment while feeding a bottle to my daughter, Lucie. I had this idea of making a collar out of fabric that could go up under the bottle cap and block or absorb the leaks – and at that same moment the word ‘bibble’ came to mind. I sat on the idea for a while and then one day just decided to hand sew what I had envisioned – which I still have to this day because it is so funny! I immediately realized I needed to learn how to use a sewing machine A crash course in sewing and a hundred tries later, I had my first official pattern and Le bibble prototype. I also added an organic cloth underlay to wipe the chin dribbles that my daughter always seemed to have during bottle feeding. I could just imagine how awful the sticky milk must have felt as it traveled into her neck crevices. Yuck! With Le bibble, you never have to put down the bottle to wipe up the dribbles. You can either hold the underlay against the chin during feeding or give the chin a swipe using the bottle. I also added the looped tag to give babies something to hold onto and play with during feeding.
2.) Which print is your best seller? You have quite a few to choose from and they are all so cute!
The two top sellers are Le pink and Le lime – interesting because one is more of a girl print and the other a boy. My personal favorite is Le lucie (named after my daughter!).
3.) What is the next for Le Bibble? Can we expect any new products or styles coming our way?
At this point, we are solely focused on introducing new styles to the market which is a LOT of fun to put together. The options are endless! We are getting ready to launch our second collection in April which introduces ten new designs into the line. It’s very interesting because a fabric’s look will completely change once in Le bibble form –you never know how a print is going to translate! One of our new prints is made from a chevron stripe fabric but when sewed into a Le bibble, turns into a star. It’s pretty fun to see that happen! I’m also trying to incorporate more ‘boy’ prints into the line as I tend to gravitate towards the more feminine designs. I’m definitely a girly girl. But my favorite thing about Le bibble is that no two are alike. Each one is as individual as the baby who uses it!
See, she is just the sweetest!
Even though Le bibble has only been around for 1 year (I know, only a year!) they have seen so much success! You can find them in over 50 boutiques, in several different countries, and have even been featured on the Today show!
Le bibble is great for you and your little, and could be the best gift ever for a new Mom or Mom to be!
Stay tuned as Michelle will soon be featured as one of CupcakeMag’s Mom’s of the Month! Make sure to check Le bibble on facebook and twitter too!
And thank you Michelle for making such a fabulous product!
