Why we made it a favorite: Custom crayons? Yes, they make them! For the custom-personalization enthusiast, these personalized crayon wrappers help identifying your Littles crayons! We oh emm geee, love them!

{1} What made you begin your shop?

My cousin Kimberly was having her first baby. I helped my Aunts plan her shower, and instantly fell in love with event planning. Once we chose a theme I started looking at similar parties for inspiration and decided to go with a candy land theme. I designed labels for the candy bar, buffet table, and water bottle labels. I also made two large lollipops for the front yard and centerpieces out of plastic buckets with different types of candy. I loved planning this event and had so much fun doing it that I thought I’d enjoy it full time. In the beginning all I had available for sell were invitations but, now my line of products has expanded greatly and continues to grow every month.

{2} What inspired the name?

My fiancé and business partner came up with the name. We’ve sort of have a hobby of searching for unique company names & logos across the world. We wanted something unique that not everyone else would have, but also memorable. After I shot down what seemed like a million names, he came up with Cio and added Prints to the end of it. Inspired by late night Kia car commercials the rest was simply word play.

{3} When you aren’t designing the items in your shop what can we find you doing?

When I’m not designing for my shop I can usually be found on a photo shoot, planning birthday parties, reading when I find the time, or designing for my other projects Cio Colors & Cio Kids. I’m pretty much always on the go and hardly ever have time to just relax.

{4} What are some of your other favorite Etsy shops?

Ivory and Moss: If you like stylish and chic Eco-Friendly wool felt baby shoes here’s the place to be. Not only are these absolutely darling but the best part is you can choose your own colors from her designated color chart. Although I currently have no little ones of my own when I do I will definitely head on over, until then they make wonderful shower gifts.

Sweet Pea Toads, Jeanette zeis ceramics, hey yo yo

Cupcake Social: I absolutely love this shop, it has everything you need to create fabulous DIY home made cupcakes that look store bought. They carry the little editable pearls in pretty much every color, a variety of designed cupcake liners, paper straws which complete any drink table, and much more.

Darlingtonia Moccasin Co.: This shop is full of adorable preppy moccasins, made from suede leather which fit in great with my style. She makes them in sizes 5 – 11 which I love because I have such small feet. They come in a variety of colors and styles. I think I’m going to treat myself to a pair sometime this year. Now just to narrow this down between the Tiger Lily, Sand Stud, Pow Princess, and Feather styles.

5. What is up next for you?

I am in the middle of expanding my shops services from just online orders and downloads to local event planning. I am also looking at taking my love of photography and combining it with event planning. In between all of this I have opened a new shop Cio Kids where I carry boy’s neck ties, tie clips, barrettes, bows, and book bags.
