Interivew With The Party Planning Goddess Herself, Tori Spelling {Win A Signed Copy of celebraTORI!}

You should have guessed that Tori Spelling’s new book, celebraTORI would be in the top 10 bestseller list just 10 days after it’s release date. This is how Tori does things and that’s why we adore T and her party planning self. A few months ago we got to glance through the pretty pages of celebraTORI so seeing the finish copy, well, it’s just gorgeous. 
We were able to grab a chat with Tori to get the inside deats on the pages of her latest book. From her favorite party styled to the chapter closest to her heart. Tori once again gives us perfection in celebraTORI. Oh! Don’t forget to enter to win a signed copy of the book below.

CM: How excited are you to give readers another book, and this time – your passion, parties?

Tori: I’ve been wanting to write a party planning book for years. I was so excited when the timing worked out. This book was truly a labor of love. I’m all about the details so I was so excited to plan and style all the 4 parties in the book and be able to also share pics of my collections, DIY tips, and recipes thru out the book.

Do you have a favorite party you have styled over time?

Yes. I live to plan a party. I’m convinced I could actually plan one for any occasion or in fact make up an occasion just to entertain! I especially loved my 30th bday I planned. It’s was 80’s Prom themed. And it was kitschy and fantastic from big hair and prom dresses to carnation corsages and a big geometric neon cake!

In celebraTORI, you share with us some of the prettiest party palettes. Do you think this is the biggest inspiration for a party?

I think party planning can be intimidating. So I always tell people that sometimes it helps to start with a color palette and then go from there. It at least gets your creativity started! The color palette will be instrumental as pops of color thru out the party and on your details.

Every chapter is filled with perfection. Which was the most fun, or closest to the heart when putting it all together?

The Caftan and Cocktails party chapter is the closest to my heart! I’ve always dreamed of throwing that party because of the time era, relevant appetizers and cocktails, and the chic details. And, let’s face it, I look for any excuse to wear a caftan.

Can we expect another book to be on its way? What is up next for you?

Yes! I’m starting my 4th memoir now. And, my new crafting competition series “Craft Wars” on TLC premieres June 26th. I’m EP and host. So excited for it!
