Hi! I’m Suzie, creator and chief of Hello Tinkymoo and Kymoo Sport.
After following my husband to the UAE to pursue his dream job at NYU Abu Dhabi, I found full time design work hard to come by. So in late 2014, Hello Tinkymoo was born out of my passion for color, painting and unique design.
I’ve always been a creative. I have always made things with my hands, sewn, and painted and drawn. With this in mind, I decided to make functional art turning my painted canvas into bags, clutches, jewelry and baby booties.
The process of creating something unique and different for a client has been the drive behind my business. It’s seeing their face after knowing how long the process takes to create their one of a kind piece.
And that’s another thing I love about my brand – even though I might paint a 4ft canvas, each clutch, bag or baby bootie will be just that little bit different depending on where, and how the canvas is cut and then sewn. Every customer has a unique, hand made, one of a kind piece.
Wanting to share my artwork further, Kymoo Sport was created. Using my artwork as patterns, I’ve been able to create fun, bright and super happy yoga and gym wear for women of all shapes and sizes (US size 2 – 26). Kymoo is due to launch late 2016, just in time for Christmas.
So what’s next on the list you might ask? For me it’s all about creating more color, happiness and just spreading joy!
