Imperfect Grace is a fine jewelry brand inspired by versatility and rooted in simple elegance and timeless edge. Designed to be different from anything else you own, but that would complement your jewelry and inspire you to express your personal style.

A big source of inspiration in designing this collection has been Krista’s heritage. She was born and raised in Ukraine until her family immigrated to metro Detroit. In designing this collection, she wanted to pay homage to the masterful stitching of the Ukrainian embroidery that she grew up with.

Her obsession with jewelry developed at a young age – she collected it, obsessed over it, and created her own designs out of her grandmother’s old jewelry. After graduating from college and landing her first job in the corporate world, she started filling my creative void by taking metalsmithing classes. Fast forward several years, she finally found the courage to launch her own jewelry brand and realize a life-long dream.

She works with a talented team of metalsmiths in Detroit, who have turned her sketches into fine jewelry made with the highest quality craftsmanship. Each piece is made with 14k gold / oxidized sterling silver and adorned with black rose cut diamonds and white sapphires. It is important to Krista to retain production of Imperfect Grace brand locally to showcase and support the manufacturing talent in the thriving city of Detroit.

Now that Krista is a new mom, she looks for ways to celebrate her daughter. She wants to give customers an opportunity to customize their Imperfect Grace with their own birthstones or those of their children to make their pieces more sentimental for them.

If you’re wondering about the name… Over the years Krista has learned time and time again that striving for perfection is not only boring but is also a waste of time. After all, it is our imperfections that make us who we are and beautiful in our own way – let’s embrace them. Grace, or that simple elegance, is a quality she truly admires in others and aspires for all of my jewelry to represent.
