My love for sewing comes from hours spend at my grandma’s knee watching her piece quilts and also watching my mom spend countless hours in her sewing room sewing clothes for her family of 9 children.
By the time I was 10 years old I was sewing clothes for my dolls and then for myself. When my babies came along it seemed only natural for me to sew unique and one of a kind pieces for them as well.
When I started getting requests for my designs after gifting them at baby showers and birthday parties, I started searching online for an outlet for my creations. Etsy enabled me to bring in an income big enough for my husband to take a pay cut and get a job closer to home with more time for the family. My business kept growing and in late 2013 we launched our website at HaddyGrace.
I am inspired by cute babies everywhere!! I’ll see a mama with a cute baby and think, I want to get that baby into HaddyGrace style!
My husband and I are all for adoption and foster care and are currently foster parents which makes us a family of 7. We dream of being debt free and adopting babies from 3rd world countries. This dream is probably one of the biggest incentives behind HaddyGrace. We are eternally grateful for how God has blessed our family through our loyal HaddyGrace customers.
