Noah’s Boytique was started while I was pregnant with my son Noah, who is 4 now.
I was put on an early maternity leave due to the fact it was a high risk pregnancy. We were pregnant before him with our daughter Ava who was stillborn due to Trisomy 18 in March of 2011. I had always worked full time and really did not know what to do while I was on leave so early. I was bored! SO naturally, I spent a lot of time online shopping for our soon to be son. The only problem was I was not finding anything cute and unique. I pulled out my sewing machine and our Patent Pending Build a Bodysuit was born. My husband and I had seen a lot of the applique tie bodysuits and we liked that style but we did not like the idea of having to buy tons of different bodysuits to get a different tie, bow tie, suspender or vest style so after months of product development and testing we came up with our bodysuit that allows you to snap all the accessories on and off.
Nothing like it exists which is what makes our product so unique. The accessories grow with your baby so all you need to purchase are additional bodysuits as your little one grows.
Our second son Nikolas was born in 2015 and has taken over the “modeling” role for new styles.
My husband must have been an engineer in a past life because he has come up with some pretty genius equipment and procedures to really make our production efficient.
The business has grown and evolved and now has expanded into girls clothes as well. I just can’t contain the ideas in my head and so many of my friends have girls so I couldn’t help myself.
We now have 8 moms who sew, process and pack orders, help in the design phase, and keep this business at a 1-2 business day turnaround rate for our customers. We do all the customer service, website management, photo editing, marketing, styling and quality control from our office right here in Northern California.
