Your blog and Instagram are gorgeous! Your presence online shows off your effortless style. What inspires your style? How did you decide on the “vibe” and design of your Instagram and blog?

Everything I do, it’s all inspired by my littles.  They are the reason and my light of day. My blog may have not started all clean and minimalist, but I have been feeling that less is actually more. Although it may all look effortless, sometimes there is a mess behind it all. I’m still trying to better adjust and keep a good balance between working at home, raising two kids, housework and being a wife.

Which topics bring you the most joy to blog about? Which topics are the most difficult to blog about?

Easy craft tutorials are my favorite topics to blog about and I feel like my readers appreciate all those easy projects to craft. The most difficult topics to write about are those personal ones that require for me to be more open but I’m working on that one. I still and will always write honestly about my product reviews, story behind my crafts, and motherhood.

I have major hair envy of your little ones! Do you (or do they) have a hard time managing their long locks? What types of products do you use to keep their hair tame in the summer heat?

My little boy has long hair, and we often get the “aww what a cute little girl” phrase. I love boys with long hair, and ever since he was born, we decided to let it grow because he was lucky enough to  be born with a head full of hair. Not many babies can say that.  In the summer heat, we usually make him a little man bun, and only use natural products to condition like Honest conditioning spray or Garnier Natural Hair Balm.

Recently, you took your family on (what looked like) an amazing trip to Mexico. What advice can you give to our mama readers who plan on traveling, in the country or internationally, with their little ones?

We had a blast in Cancun. Although, the weather wasn’t really what I imagined. We often used our stroller and ergo baby carrier. They were a lifesaver when walking through the Chizen Itza and Playa Del Carmen strip. Bringing mist fans is a must too, the weather was unbearable and having a little fresh water in the kids faces was refreshing and fun. It’s tough traveling with kids, it can be very tiring. Letting the kids pick their favorite toy, book and backpack can make things easier. Packing their favorite things will make the trip enjoyable for them but especially for the parents. We missed one of our flights back home and we had to wait in the airport for nine hours without sleep. It was one of our worst experiences, but we had all the things the kiddos needed to entertain themselves: Junius’ favorite blanket for bedtime and the iPad for Aries. Be extra prepared with antibacterial wipes, sunscreen, wipes, sippy cups, and toys.

Describe your typical week day! How do you incorporate work time and family time into your daily life?

My little guy is my alarm…as soon as he wakes up its diaper changing, bottle feeding, watching a little TV, tending to my 5 year old, doing chores, reading emails/social media, writing a blog post in between lunch, taking photos of projects/kids, more social media, emails, dinner, doing more chores, bedtime, staying up late answering emails, finishing a blog post, sleep? What’s sleep. The end. Not even, but that sounds about right almost every day.

What is your favorite meal to cook for you and your family?

Our favorite dish we all love making together is homemade pizza! We love making fresh dough, fresh sauce and all the toppings we all love. I feel like the meals where my kids are involved are the ones that we enjoy the most. I also love making my kids their favorite Mexican alphabet soup like my mom used to make me.

If you could have any super power, what would it be?

Freeze time any time I want. How amazing would that be when I’m in a rush, or need sometime to myself?!

What is your go-to for an afternoon pick-me-up? (caffeine, a nap, exercise etc.)

I’m not a big fan of coffee, but a little cafe vanilla frap with java chips wouldn’t hurt.
