Color is amazing. It can be wonderfully enlighten and exciting. It can bring youthfulness, joy, and happiness to a space like nothing else can. And let’s be honest… isn’t it just so fun??
It really is so easy to bring color into a space. There are so many different ways and possibilities! Pillows, rugs, artwork, paint, and let’s not forget furniture! Accessories are the simplest way to bring color. A brightly patterned throw pillow, a fun rug, an interesting piece of artwork. They are easy to replace and swap out. They are typically the least expensive. At the same time though they provide such a great spice to a space! But why stop there?
Paint is actually a very easy way as well. It is easily changed yet creates such a statement. Not only that but paint literally can be ANY color you want it to be. That little piece of yellow in an old blanket that you just love or the blue in the throw pillow you finally got… piece of cake! Color matching is a beautiful thing isn’t it? But why stop there?
Have you ever thought about the possibility of color in your furniture? Sofas, chairs, ottomans… they come in such a variety of colors and talk about a serious statement. I can’t get it out of my head. Use it as a focal point and surround it with neutral accessories and furnishings or let it add to the color and surround it with other colors and create a fabulously colorful exciting space. Which is what I did with my inspiration board (Orange sofa!!! AHHH!!!) Either way… everyone is going to be talking about it! Tell me though, it takes some guts to put an orange sofa in your living room. Do you think you could do it??

Ooh really??? It’s a gorgeous rug isn’t it?
First of all I want to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question that I’d like
to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.
I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.
I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to
figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints?
Appreciate it!
