Having just moved into a new house, I am currently obsessed with all things design related. I can’t get enough of HGTV, design magazines, and don’t even get me started on Pinterest. Lately, a look that I have really been loving is the mix of navy and gold. We recently painted our office a lovely shade of navy and now I’m just dying to add some gold accents after seeing these beauties!
1. Fun Throw Pillows– How adorable are these navy and gold pillows? We have a chair that sits in the corner of our office that is needing a little TLC. These pillows might just be the perfect solution.
2. Decorative Books– I hate having an empty bookshelf, and while I would much rather fill it with books that I would enjoy reading, I have always loved the idea of having a monochromatic book shelf. I have also seen some really neat ideas where the books were displayed in an ombre pattern.
3. Cute Prints– This ampersand is adorable, and I have to admit that a few of them have already made their way into our home. Cute prints are always a welcome addition to any room.
4. Stylish Curtains– I feel like these gold and white curtains are the perfect fit for a navy room. They are stylish with out being completely gaudy.
5. Office Accessories– I am a bit obsessed with office supplies. It might be the teacher in me, but I can’t get enough. I am especially fond of all of my office accessories matching. That is why these Kate Spade gold bow push pins are the perfect addition to our navy and gold office.
6. Stylish Decor– I love the chevron trend just as much as the next girl, but I like to keep it somewhere that can easily be changed out if I get tired of it. This vase is the perfect solution because it is inexpensive and adds just the right amount of “pop”!
7. Something Quirky– My husband and I are a bit obsessed with faux taxidermy and I’m not ashamed to admit it. This gold stag had to make an appearance in my Navy and Gold design board.
8. Trinket Trays– Another obsession that I have is with trinket trays. We have several of them around our house that serve different purposes. Mostly, I like having places to place my jewelry/wedding ring if I need to take it off for any reason. They also serve a decorative purpose though, and add the perfect pop of color
