Spring has sprung and while it may not feel quite like Spring outside, that doesn’t mean it can’t look like Spring inside! Mint and Coral are one of my favorite color combinations for this spring. Mint really made a statement last year, and I feel like this year will be no different especially paired with a peachy, coral-y, pink.
1. Have you seen these strings of tassels popping up everywhere lately? I LOVE them! They are so funky and fun! Plus they add great color and texture into any room. I’ve seen them placed over beds on headboards, used as curtain toppers, and hung over mantles.
2. If you read my Navy & Gold post, you know that I have a strange love of faux taxidermy. Of course this post is no different. This mint colored bear is kinda quirky and and I love it! I’m trying to find a place where I could sneak this guy in.
3. Fresh flowers are one of my favorite ways to add some color into an area of the house. Peonies are by far my favorite.
4. Bins, baskets, and….magazine holders? Oh my. Cute storage is a must for me. My house doesn’t have a large number of closets, especially downstairs, so I have to be creative with how I store things. This mint colored, magazine bin is great because it is large enough to hold a bunch of magazines, but also adds a decorative touch.
5. I love fun colored mirrors like this pink one. They are functional and pretty. Plus it is so much easier to add fun decorations, that can be easily changed out, rather than painting the entire room a color you’ll get sick of later on.
6. Decorative pillows are great because they can be changed out for every season or holiday. They’re inexpensive, easy to clean, and they add a great pop of color to any room.
7. I LOVE trays. I know it’s strange, but I want them all over my home. This mint colored tray table is a nice way to save space but is still functional enough to be used as a side table.
8. Rugs are a great way to add both colors and patterns. You can go wild with rugs and they are a great accent piece.
What do you think of mint and coral together? Are you loving it or hating it?
