Currently Reading : Bringing Up Bebe

With reviews like, “…this year’s provocative parenting orthodoxy…” —New York Magazine and “…a riveting glimpse into a calmer, rational, sage way of raising children.” —Publishers Weekly* it’s no wonder we’ve been loving every page of Bringing Up Bébé!

Pamela Drucker, an American journalist and the author, has sure taken the parenting world by storm with her book Bringing Up Bébé (The Penguin Press: 2012). With questions like How come French babies sleep through the night? Why do French children happily eat what is put in front of them?, and Why are French mums more likely to be seen in skinny jeans than tracksuit bottoms? all answered within her book its another no brainer that we aren’t the only ones falling in love with the french parenting ways.

After the publication of Bringing Up Bébé Pamela Druckerman was featured on the TODAY show to explain her book, theories, and parenting philosophy further and as you can imagine she’s just as wise in person as she is on paper. Pamela’s stories of parisian parenting are as witty and charming as they are intelligent and helpful. Our advice, avoir un grand jour (have a great day!) and read Bringing Up Bébé!
