The Heart behind hemmed in

Hemmed In was born out of a desire to outfit Little Ladies in designs that are “fancy” and “twirly” and yet completely childhood-friendly, durable and beautiful. The name Hemmed In comes from Psalm 139:5 that says “You HEM ME IN, behind and before, and You lay your hand upon me.” That image of total protection, of safety and security, within the loving care of my Heavenly Father, is a picture that I think captures the essence of my heart as a parent as well. I want my daughter to be protected, safe and secure, and thus free to live life carefree! In every piece I design, I aim to provide clothing that protects her innocence as a young child, and yet fulfills that innate tendency to twirl, dance, run, climb, and play the day away! Our line has since grown to include functional accessories that help maximize efficiency for a Mama’s busy days chasing little ones.

My business’ motto is: “Adorable. Affordable. Handmade.” Everything I create matches those 3 descriptors!

//Adorable// Little Ladies are adorable, and so should their wardrobe be! I design items that are fashion-forward, age-appropriate and childhood-friendly for active girls. Our items are fancy enough for those special occasions (weddings, family portraits, graduations, holidays, etc) and yet totally wearable everyday. //Affordable// I’m a Mama too, I get it! High-quality, long-lasting, unique clothing & accessories shouldn’t be out-of-reach. Unfortunately, handmade quality & originality isn’t found at Target prices. But I work very hard to find the highest-quality material at the lowest cost in order to keep our prices suitable to real life. And to top it off, I’ll cover the Shipping. Everyday. On every item! And I’ll send her a FREE Hairclip with every purchase. To accessorize with, of course.
