Hi, I’m Megan Reynolds and I’m the owner of Flawed Perfection Jewelry, a handmade jewelry company based out of San Diego, CA. We make customized designs that empower modern women, all made with SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS. For four years of college, I balanced school and the business. Since graduating from college in May 2013, I’ve focused on FPJ full-time, as well as social media consulting.
Jewelry was always a big part of my life, including starting to make jewelry when I was 10 years-old. In August 2009, right before beginning college, I started Flawed Perfection Jewelry, focusing on gemstone designs. In 2012, I started working with SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS components. Customers instantly fell in love with these sparkling designs, so we now work almost exclusively in SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS (beads of Swarovski crystals). We combine these stunning colors of beads and pendants with sterling silver, fine silver, and gorgeous stainless steel. Almost all of our designs can be customized, making them even more special for the customers. Additionally, I believe in giving back, so we make a commitment to give back every month to important issues.
Our designs are inspired by a mix of old and new. I’m a huge fan of sparkle and glamour, but also favor clean lines and modern silhouettes. I’m inspired by the beautiful county I live in (San Diego), as well as unique color combos. We offer looks that can be simple for someone who wants delicate jewelry, or can be layered up for bolder, sparklier designs for the women who loves statement jewelry. Our designs are also an updated way to wear personalized jewelry, especially birthstone designs. I also love our specialty colorways, including the Musical Sparkle line, Game Day Hoop Earrings, and the Sorority Sisters colorways. I love how the shop is constantly bursting with colorful designs!
