Color Crush: Gold and Coral

The winter blues have me wishing for warmer weather and dreaming of tropical places. Part of that includes a new love of all things gold and coral. Something about this color combo reads sun kissed and exotic. I’ll take a serving of that, please!

Coral is such a feminine color, but it instantly brings a bold energy to any space or outfit. Some shades of coral have strong red or orange undertones while others lean in the direction of peach. I’ve never met a coral I didn’t love! It is such a versatile accent color because it pairs well with navy, taupe, brown, or black. My favorite paring has to be with gold, however. It’s glam without being over the top.

I added a gold and coral print to my daughter’s nursery last year, and it quickly became one of my favorite pieces in the house. (Print via Lindsay Letter’s shop.)

I would love to use coral and gold as the inspiration point for my bedroom. I would imagine waking up with those colors everyday would ensure you get off to a great start!
