Hello! I am Nicole, wifey to my bestie and momma of two little nature babes! CanyonLeaf came to Life in the eyes of my children {Aspen + Canyon} and my incredibly supportive husband as I was searching for some balance in the day to day life of being a Momma Bear. Leaving the corporate world behind to explore parenthood in all its glory, I found that it was challenging to just stop. I needed an outlet to be me, where I could express myself and connect with others. Naturally.
Nature is my Home. Where I feel at peace and the place in which I find it all connect. My passion is to share this natural beauty with the world, in any way that I can. Each CanyonLeaf piece is created by Mother Nature and preserved by Father Time. Originally, focused on creating handmade wooden pieces to record the nature babes growth as they journey through life, I soon became #obsessed with protecting my little ones from the crazy world in which we live.
I wanted only the best, all natural, organic and chemical free everything! I was making my own baby food, lotion, toothpaste, shampoo, floor cleaner, you name it and trying to avoid anything that I didn’t make! My poor husband was sure we would be vegan and living in a teepee by years end, as I was on a mission to live on only what nature could provide. That’s when I discovered the many amazing benefits of Baltic Amber.
My mother was living oversees and sent me a care package with these tiny beaded necklaces, to adorn my two little ones as we all struggled with the discomfort of teething. Together. We soon learned of all the magical healing powers of Baltic Amber and I was on a mission to share this natural option with all of my people! I started sharing the warmth + light of Baltic Amber and its many health benefits with the small shop community and have found an incredible tribe of believers, to walk with me on this journey of parenthood, the good old fashioned way! Where we raise our own children and teach them to look to nature for all that we need.
