How are the lessons scheduled?

What type of camera do I need?
You can use many of these lessons to enhance your baby photography skills with just an iPhone, or whatever camera you currently use. However, I suggest an entry level DSLR camera to get the most of it. Even if you don’t have one now, you can take your everyday photography skills so much further with just an iPhone, when you learn how to master lighting.
If you don’t have one now, we’ll go over basics of choosing an affordable beginner camera and lens in the first lesson. No matter what, you’ll always have access to the course when you are ready to buy your first DSLR. You will learn a lot even without one and can come back to it anytime! Remember, lifetime access!
I have a DSLR and shoot in Auto mode. Will this course help me?
Hands down, absolutely yes!! I want nothing more than to show you how incredibly easy it is to go from auto to manual! Auto makes it harder to capture amazing images because your left wondering why you’re hauling around this camera with results that look like they came from your cell phone. I found a way to explain manual settings in an easy way. So easy even my six year old was able to grasp it!
Do I need any special props?
You don’t need anything but a little motivation and that sweet muse of yours, but there are a few things that could help if you have a younger baby. The only props we talk about in the newborn section are things you likely have around the house already. Aside from that, it’s up to you to choose things you may like to include. The goal is to keep it about baby, but we will go over fun props and ways to make each photo unique.
I’m a lifestyle blogger, could this course help me?
This course can take you from basic snapshots to incredible images. Period. Whether they are of your own baby, or products you are marketing, an understanding of light can do incredible things for your blog or busines. And we all know amazing photography is what sells your brand!
