Two of my favorite magazines sit on my coffee table. Real Simple and Cooking Light have finally hit shelves for April! Mid-month is always my favorite for newsstands. While I love reading online there is just something still so great about placing pretty printed press on my coffee table and around my home. It leaves me always inspired when I flip through the pages. After reading the latest I felt so inspired to share some of my favorite tips and tricks for spring cleaning – especially those easy organizational tips I found the most helpful after ready the latest issues of Real Simple and Cooking Light. They were filled with endless ideas and great options to get a head start this Spring! And even better — they have deal at Target! When you buy both of the April issues, you get a $5 gift card! But hurry — the offer is only available while supplies last!
1. Re-vamp your bedside table
It’s more than just a place to drop your iPhone before bed. While you are dusting it off and spring cleaning your bedroom — think about styling your sleeping space.
2. Glass Cleaner
It isn’t just for those windows and mirrors! It makes those porcelain sinks and stovetops shine. My favorite? Mrs. Jones’ Soapbox are the best.
3. Baseboards + Beadboards
It wasn’t until Real Simple did I learn a little trick about baseboards that has now made cleaning a breeze. I never thought to use my vacuum’s brush attachment followed with a damp cloth to clean my baseboards. What a difference a little push power it makes!
4. Dusting a Lampshade
Anyone else have a really hard time cleaning those lampshades? This girl! After using a lint roller over the surfaces of the lamp shade – pull out your blow dryer! Blow dust from the seams with your blow dryer to get it nice and dust-free!
