As a fellow mama who craved sweets all the time while being pregnant I know what it’s like to be hungry, overly tired, and pregnant. It’s exhausting! And the feeling of not finding anything that you like- or you’re just completely over the same go-to snack can get frustrating. This is why I am sharing a few options that can get you going and are still considered okay for you and baby & overall satisfy that sweet tooth.
- Nutella Toast with Strawberry and Bananas- There is just something special about pregnancy and Nutella. Pregnant women just can’t stay away. And if you’re dying for something sweet this is the perfect thing to make. Quick and simple. Add a few organic strawberries and organic sliced banana on a organic wheat bread and spread it with Nutella- and there you have it.
- Protein Pancakes – Can’t say no to some warm fluffy pancakes. These protein pancakes are amazingly delicious. All you need is Kodiak Protein Mix, 1 cup of organic strawberries and bananas, 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract, and organic maple syrup with a bit of organic powder sugar to sprinkle on top.
- Oreo Crumble Milkshake- As much as I love going to Chick-fil-A (because I’m there quite often) why spend money on their cookies n’ cream shake when you can make it easily at home and with less of the calories by simply limiting your serving amount. All you need is 6 oreos, 2% milk, light whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and homemade vanilla ice cream, mix all in blender. I call this the “healthier” option… I mean who is counting calories right?
