Kim’s Faves — and these are a few of my favorite things!

As you may have read about a month ago I gave birth to my first baby, my little Jack!. My husband and are thrilled to start our family and have been enjoying these last few weeks getting to know our son.

Being a new Mom gives me a whole new list of products to love and I thought I would share the few things that have been most enjoyable to me in this first month of mommyhood!

My Vera Bradley diaper bagThis bag has become my second purse. I shopped and shopped for the perfect diaper bag and this is what I ended up with. I have to say I am very pleased with the purchase! It’s a good size, has just the right amount of compartments, is fabric so it’s easy to throw in the wash, and a cute pattern/color combo! I typically like to switch my purses often so I am sure I will end up with a couple of other diaper bags in Jacks lifetime.

I am already eyeing the next one I want to pick up for myself.  It has been featured here on cupcakeMAG in the past and I have been lusting over it ever since!! It is by Pink Lining and perfect for a Cupcake lover like myself!

Sophie the GiraffeThis is a toy seen with many celebs, one being Kourtney Kardasian with her adorable little Mason. While this is a toy for babies a little bit older and going through teething I have found that Jack is very interested in the squeak sounds it makes! As is my black lab! I think this is a toy he will enjoy once he can use it, but for now when I am done changing him we let Sophie squeak for a bit and Jack loves it. Sophie lives next to the diapers and wipes on our changing table now!

And for a decor item in little Jack’s nursery I am loving this plush owl from none other but Tori Spelling’s InvenTori shop! I saw her husband Dean McDermott tweet about these owls and knew I had to have one! So I called the store up and placed an order. Such wonderful customer service at InvenTori and Dean added the special touch of signing one of their tags and sending it along with the owl!
